IMC (Intermediate Care Nursery)

Nathaniel has been moved from the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) to the IMC (Intermediate Care Nursery)! Chad went up to visit last night and saw his new home. We are very excited that after a week and 5 days the doctors think he is strong enough and progressing well enough to be moved. His nurse this morning told me that he hit 3lbs at last nights weigh in and he is now up to 15ccs of breast milk every three hours. Yesterday they were giving him 12ccs and they increased it this morning. He is still under the phototherapy lights for jaundice since his bilirubin numbers are still a little elevated but other than that he is doing great. I am going up to visit this afternoon and can't wait to see the little cutie in his new nursery!
