Nathaniel's preschool took a field trip to the pumpkin patch Friday morning. We got to go on a hay ride, see the farm animals, play on the farm toys and in the corn barn. We started with a hay ride around the farm and then got to go in the barn to see the animals. We were a little disappointed because in the barn all they had were goats. Nathaniel got to pet a couple but he wanted to know where the rest of the animals were. It was a beautiful day so perfect for running off some extra energy at the farm. Nathaniel's favorite was the corn barn. They had a barn full of corn with lots of diggers, shovels, tractors, and buckets for the kids. I had to pull him out screaming when it was time to pick our pumpkin and leave. But he got over it pretty quickly when I showed him the pumpkin area and told him to pick one out to take home. They also grow and sell apples on the farm so we bought a basket of apples too!
We are loving all the fun fall activities!
