Orthopedic Appointment

Nathaniel had his appointment in Baltimore with the Kennedy Krieger Orthopedic Clinic a couple of weeks ago. The appointment went well and they just made a few adjustments to his braces and fitted him for new ones. His current braces have created a small callus on the inside of each foot - he has never complained and says it doesn't hurt but I was concerned and so was the doctor. They were able to blow them out a bit which I think is helping but the redness is not completely gone so we will move forward with having the new ones made. My big boy did great at the appointment and let the doctor stretch and maneuver his legs and feet. Overall they are very happy with his progress so we just keep up with therapy, stretching and wearing the braces.
