NC Visit with Snow

A week ago Thursday (MLK weekend) Nathaniel, the dogs and I headed to NC for a long weekend. Chad was out out town on a business trip so we decided to go visit family and friends. They were calling for snow so instead of leaving on Friday we headed out on Thursday to make sure we could get in safely. The snow that was called for didn't exactly turn into the amount they predicted but it was enough for Nathaniel to go out and walk around in. Too crunchy and icy to really play in though. We had lots of fun hanging out with Grammy and Pops and even got to see one of my best friends Michelle and her 3 beautiful daughters. Michelle and I have known each other since grade school, were roommates in college and have been the best of friends for 20 years now - wow that makes me feel old! It was so much fun to catch up and let all of our kiddos play. Nathaniel loved playing with the girls and keeps asking when we can go to their house for another play date.
