Back into the Swing of Things

Things have returned to normal around here since the Christmas and New Year's hustle and bustle is over. I packed up and put away all the Christmas decorations last Friday morning while Nathaniel was at school. It's always a little sad but I like having my house back in order. School and work for all are busy but 2013 seems to be off to a good start. Nathaniel is maturing more and more each day and I can't believe he will be 4 in less than 6 months. Seems impossible that the toddler years are almost gone and before I know it he will be off to kindergarten - tear! I am going to try and not focus on that but instead enjoy the time now.
Our weather has been a little crazy which is why so many people are sick. Yesterday it was in the 60s and beautiful but it is supposed to be really cold again next week. Gramma and Papa recently bought a condo in Myrtle Beach so hopefully we will be spending some time there this Spring and Summer soaking up the sun. I can do without the winter cold!
Not much else new around here or blog worthy but I did want to post a little update just to say we are doing well. And because no post is all that interesting without a picture here is one of my kid enjoying a lolly pop in the car waiting Sarah to get off the bus. See that nice big bump on the side of his temple? He fell off the potty earlier in the day. Never a dull moment - he thought he could get off all by himself but apparently he is not quiet coordinated enough yet. Poor kid!

And here is another one of him reading his new favorite book that Aunt Jan gave him for Christmas.
