Our little guy is doing great and continues to grow, develop and change daily. His speech amazes me and at 2 he is speaking in full sentences and using proper tense and pronouns most of the time. He also speaks very clear and most others can understand him too. Couple funny things:
When saying his name he pronounces it : Nathaaaaaaniel - with a big southern accent
When asked to say his full name he says: Nathaniel Goodrich Bryan Goodrich
He has been completely dry now for over 3 weeks, including nap and night time. So I think it is safe to say he is potty trained! YAY! He can't go to the potty unassisted but normally tells me when he has to go. His walking improves everyday and he hasn't been using the walker - we didn't even take it on our trip to NC/SC. With his braces he does great inside and is getting better outside. Bare feet is a little hard but he is falling less as he walks around the house in the mornings and after bath time at night. He still wears the braces from the time he gets dressed in the morning until he takes a bath. He can also stand up on his own from the floor without holding on to anything - a big milestone that he reached a few weeks ago. Speaking of milestones... one of the things that therapist and doctors want to see babies/toddlers do is stack blocks. Nathaniel has never been interested in stacking blocks until recently. Because of his diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy our doctors and therapist have been a little concern about his lack of interest/ability to stack. Look at this tower he built yesterday - way to go Nathaniel! I don't think he has any issues stacking and he used both hands to build this!
