Nathaniel hadn't been to Gramma & Papa's house since last Christmas so it was so much fun for him to explore a whole new place. We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and the trip down was great. Left at 5:30am so Nathaniel could continue sleeping, used a DVD player for about an hour in the morning after breakfast in the car, stopped for some exercise, ate lunch in the car then Nathaniel napped until we arrived around 2:30pm. A perfect drive down in my book! We had a wonderful meal on Thursday and exchanged gifts in the afternoon before Chad had to leave for his match.

Nathaniel and I stayed and played at Gramma & Papa's while Daddy was gone for the weekend. We took Nathaniel to the mall for Santa and the cool play area and he also got to have a play date with the neighbor's youngest daughter, Natalie, who is only a couple months older than him. We really had a wonderful time and it was so nice to just relax for a few days. The drive home did not go as smoothly. We left at Nathaniel's nap time and he did take a nap but pretty much fussed the rest of the way home except while we ate dinner at Cracker Barrel - it was a loooong 9 hour car ride.

I am so glad we got to spend a fews days with Gramma & Papa. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to see you again soon. We love you guys!
