Infants & Toddlers

Nathaniel had a visit from our Infants and Toddlers therapist last Tuesday. According to Ann and Kim Nathaniel is perfect (I already knew this!). He is performing between 5 and 8 months in every catagory so we are right on track. His adjusted age is 5 months and real age 7.5 so I am thrilled with this news. Here is a list of what he is up to these days:
Sitting up on his own for a few seconds
Reaching for objects overhead
Passing toys from one hand to the other
Pushing up on his hands - wants to move but not quite coordinated to pull his legs under him
Rolling from belly to back
Rolling from his back to his side
Lifting his head up when on his back
Eating baby food three times a day - still nursing too
Talking (cooing) and laughing all the time - he is very tickleish
Putting weight on his feet when held upright
He knows strangers from Mom and Dad
Lets me know if he doesn't want to be left alone - knows when I leave the room
Goes to bed around 7pm, sleeps until 4am or 5am, nurses, then back to bed until about 7am
Takes 2 naps a day
Wearing some 3 to 6 months clothes and some 6 to 9 months

When we went to the doctors last week for his second flu shots they took his height and weight:
Height: 25 1/2 inches
Weight: 16 lbs
