Weekend & March for Babies

I think we all look forward to the weekends around here. Nathaniel loves getting to watch cartoons in the morning and having Daddy home. We all like sleeping in a little and not having to get up and start the morning routine. And coffee with my 2 boys in bed is the best! Most weekends our mornings start off just like this and Saturday was no different. After a late breakfast we headed outside to play. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time playing outside and we got a few chores done too.

On Sunday was the March of Dimes March for Babies walk. Nathaniel and I left about 7:30 to meet our fellow walkers and friends at the stadium. It was much colder than it has been in years past but at least it wasn't raining. We had lots of clouds and wind which kept the cooler temps around for most of the morning. We walked then looped back to the stadium for some lunch, Rita's ice and games for the kids. The Southern MD Superheros made an appearance and Nathaniel was so excited to meet them. He is really into superheros now even though he has never seen any of the movies or cartoons. This particular group travels to community events promoting anti-bullying and being a hero. When we got home the neighborhood kids were out so we joined them for a fun afternoon.

Thank you to all our friends and family that donated to this great cause and supported our walk. We walk to celebrate Nathaniel and support healthy pregnancies and babies!
