Colonial Beach

My good friend and neighbor, Wendy, and I decided to take the kids to Colonial Beach on Friday. During the summer months Wendy gets every Friday off. Sarah spends Monday through Thursday with Nathaniel and I. This was one of Wendy's last Fridays off so we wanted to do something fun. Colonial Beach is actually on the river in VA about 45 minutes from our house. We all had a really great time. Nathaniel loved just sitting near the water playing in the sand and Sarah enjoyed swimming. Wendy and I got to relax and talk while the kids played.
