4th of July, Visit to NC & Visit from SC

We have been very busy this last week. Chad came home from a work trip on Friday, July 1 and we were able to spend the weekend together as a family and celebrate the 4th with our neighbors. They had a big cookout/pool party on the 2nd and it was so much fun! On Monday the 4th Chad and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary and then Nathaniel, the dogs and I packed up and headed to NC. Jenny is getting married on September 3 and we had lots of wedding planning to do. I spent the next 3 days doing wedding stuff with Jenny and Mom while Nathaniel hung out with Pops and drove the Gator. It was the highlight of his trip and the only thing he wanted to do and I quote "Nathaniel drive the Gator please" 100,000 times a day! We did get to take a short boat ride our last day there, it was really nice and Nathaniel even got to drive!

We came back to MD late Thursday night and on Friday Gramma and Papa arrived from SC for a weekend visit. We had a wonderful time with them and they brought up Nathaniel's birthday gifts - a bell for his bike and a pirate ship water table! They are so cool and Nathaniel has already spent hours playing.
