Spring Break Busch Gardens Trip

Chad took the week of Nathaniel's spring break off and so I took a few days as well and we headed to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. Monday we drove down and despite the promise of nice weather it was raining and cold. We took our time getting there and fortunately by lunch time the rain had stopped. We basically had the park to ourselves and it actually turned out to be a very nice day by mid/late afternoon. We (and by "we" I mean Chad & Nathaniel) rode all the rides that we could and some of them 2 or 3 times. We also visited with the animals and saw a predator show. By the time we got back to the hotel we crashed and were ready to go again on Tuesday morning. The weather on Tuesday was perfect and we arrived at the park when it opened. It was much more crowded but still the lines were manageable and we saw a couple more shows. After 2 full days we headed home tired but loved our time at the park and fully intend on using our season passes to go back a few times this summer.
