We spent Christmas in SC with Chad's parents. It was a long drive down but a really fun quick trip filled with good company, fantastic food and memories. As a quick side note Nathaniel had a major melt down on Christmas Eve that almost resulted in Christmas being cancelled - seriously it was bad and very unlike him. See the note to Santa in the pictures below. Santa made his way to SC to deliver a few things but left Nathaniel's big gift under the tree at our house.
We arrived home on Friday after Christmas and Nathaniel had a few minutes before dark to ride his new dune buggy. Grammy & Pops arrived Saturday morning and Jason and Cristine came over Saturday afternoon. It was Christmas all over again with my side of the family again with great food and company.
For New Years we stayed home and had our neighbors over. The kids played and the grown-ups got to visit. Nathaniel made it to midnight to see the ball drop then it was off to bed for the Goodrich family.
Our Christmas season was truly magical this year and we are very blessed!
