Nathaniel had 2 doctor appointments last week. On Monday we headed to Kennedy Krieger for a check-up with Dr. Leppert. She has followed him since we were released from the NICU. It was a great appointment and she confirmed that in her professional opinion Nathaniel has very mild spastic diplegia (form of CP that was diagnosed over a year ago) with no cognitive delays that can be identified. This is fantastic news and a great relief to hear from a professional. With they type of CP Nathaniel has there is a 50/50 chance of also having cognitive delays and learning disabilities. We are very fortunate that nothing at this time indicates any issues with Nathaniel's cognitive skills. All test show his abilities range from 3 to 4 years. Basically she said he is perfect and wonderful - I already knew this but always nice to hear!
His second appointment was with the pediatrician on Wednesday. That also went very well except Nathaniel didn't want to go and was less than thrilled when they called his name. After he was handed a lolly pop things got better and I took he and Sarah to get ice cream afterwards.

Here are his 3 year stats:
Weight: 29lbs - 10th to 15th percentile
Height: 37inches - 30th percentile
