Touch-A-Truck

We took Nathaniel to a really fun event on Saturday! Touch-a-Truck is a fundraiser for the Center for Children. They get local police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, diggers, dump trucks, etc. to park at the local baseball stadium, open all the doors and allow the kids to explore and "drive." Nathaniel was in heaven! I don't know if I have ever seen him this excited and overwhelmed by all the cool trucks. He lead us around for at least 2 hours climbing on and driving the trucks.

It was cloudy and a little cold but so glad the rain held off and we were able to enjoy such a wonderful family day. When it was time to leave Nathaniel protested but we took him to chick-fil-a for nuggets and fries and that worked until we were done eating. He then asked to go back to touch-a-truck and has asked everyday since. It only comes once a year but for sure we will be there next year!
