Thanksgiving

This year we spent Thanksgiving at home with just the 3 of us. We are not big on traveling during the holidays with Nathaniel and 2 dogs and its just easier to stay home. That being said we still had a very nice quiet Thanksgiving. We started off with yummy cinnamon rolls for breakfast and the Macy's Day Parade - 2 of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions. I cooked a turkey breast and all the fixings that we enjoyed for lunch and since it was a beautiful day Nathaniel decided to skip nap and play outside that afternoon. It was different not having extra family around for the holiday but nice to be at home relaxing and just enjoying each other.

Friday evening we went to the Leonardtown Christmas Tree Lighting with our neighbors. They had lots of fun things for the kids that Nathaniel and Sarah enjoyed - a petting zoo, fire truck ride, Frosty the Snowman and Santa! It was fun times with our wonderful neighbors and a great way to spend a Friday night. I did not venture out on black Friday with all the craziness but we did get to a few places on Saturday. It really wasn't crowded at all and I was able to pick up a few Christmas gifts and take advantage of the sales.
