Our sweet baby boy turned 4 last Friday! I think his birthday started a week before then and will continue for another week by the time we see all our family. I am in complete disbelief that he is 4 years old. Seems like yesterday we were in the hospital wondering what the future held and yet I can't remember life before Nathaniel. He really is a very sweet and caring child with a big heart and a playful rambunctious silly side. And with age 4 a new interest in Superheroes has developed. He still loves his cars, trucks and construction vehicles but the superheroes stuff and action figures have started also taking up space in his room. He even picked out a Spider-man cake.
We had our yearly checkup at Kennedy Krieger with the NICU Development Clinic a couple days before his birthday and they said he is perfect (I already knew this)! His test scores were above average and he is now in the 50% for weight and height on the typical development growth chart. 35 almost 36 pounds and about 40 inches tall!
Grammy was here the weekend before Nathaniel's birthday and we got to hang out with Uncle Jason and Aunt Cristine too. Pops came up the day of his birthday and got to join us at Pump It Up for Nathaniel's party with his friends. We will see Gramma and Papa later this week for one more celebration! Nathaniel has really loved turning 4 and all the excitement! Watch out picture overload below from days of fun birthday celebrations!
